CVE Welcomes Ernie Zadell!

Chagrin Valley Engineering, Ltd. is excited to announce the addition of Ernie Zadell as a Planning and Programming Engineer.

Ernie brings over 30 years of experience in civil engineering and project management, having recently retired from the Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works. He began his career in 1993 after earning his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Cleveland State University. During his time at the County, Ernie served as a Senior Project Manager, focusing on project planning, funding, and consultant coordination. His extensive experience includes preparing the County’s Issue 1 applications and serving on the District One Public Works Integrating Committee where he contributed to scoring Issue 1 applications. He also managed consultant contracts and design budgets while coordinating the County’s consultant hiring practices.

In his new role at CVE, Ernie will help navigate grant applications, coordinate project funding, and manage project reimbursement applications. We are confident that his wealth of knowledge and expertise will be an invaluable asset to the CVE team!
