Ryan Snezek, PS joins the CVE team as our new Director of Surveying!

Ryan Snezek, PS

Ryan Snezek, PS, has joined Chagrin Valley Engineering as our new Director of Surveying. Ryan brings extensive experience in surveying and mapping, with a solid background in managing and leading surveying teams across various projects.

Ryan has a Bachelor of Science in Surveying and Mapping from the University of Akron and has a Professional Surveyor license. His expertise includes utilizing robotic and manual total stations, GPS stations, data collectors, and AutoCAD Survey applications. Ryan has worked on a wide range of survey services, including base mapping, centerline, Right-of-Way, topography, utility studies, ALTA/NSPS Title surveys, construction stakeout, and site development.

In his role at CVE, Ryan will oversee all surveying operations, ensuring the highest quality and accuracy in our projects. He will manage a team of skilled Surveyors, coordinate with other departments, and engage with clients to provide expert guidance and solutions. Ryan’s leadership will be instrumental in expanding CVE’s surveying capabilities and enhancing our service delivery across various sectors in the civil engineering industry.


Jordan Snelick joins the CVE team as our new GIS Manager!

Jordan Snelick

Jordan Snelick has joined Chagrin Valley Engineering as our new GIS Manager. Jordan brings a wealth of expertise in GIS, particularly in the use of ESRI, ArcGIS, ArcMap, and other geospatial technologies. With a strong background in both technical skills and project management, she is well-equipped to continue enhancing CVE’s GIS capabilities.

Jordan holds a Masters Degree in Geographic Information Sciences from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning and Sustainability from Ohio University. Her career has been marked by a commitment to integrating GIS into municipal operations, having worked with over 45 client communities in the Great Lakes area where she configured GIS mapping applications, created web and mobile applications, and provided comprehensive training to local government and utility staff.

In her role, Jordan will lead our GIS department where she will focus on developing innovative GIS solutions that support our projects and clients. Her responsibilities will include managing GIS data, creating custom mapping applications, and providing technical training to our team. Additionally, Jordan’s expertise as an FAA-certified drone pilot will be invaluable for data collection and enhance our capabilities.
